What data we process and why
- Quote and contact requests: name, phone, email, pickup and drop-off addresses and job details, to answer your request and, if accepted, provide the service.
- Driver applications: contact details and experience, to assess your application.
Legal basis
Your consent when submitting the form and pre-contractual steps taken at your request (Art. 6.1.a and 6.1.b GDPR).
Retention
Requests that don’t become a job are kept for up to 12 months. Customer data is kept for the duration of the relationship and legal tax and accounting periods.
Your rights
You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability by writing to hola@girutransporte.es, and lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).
